Grilled cheese seems to always be a fan favorite! The whole family loves it, and it is sooo easy. To make mine a little different (not much), all I did was added a couple ingredients and of course used vegan cheese because I do not eat dairy. In my opinion this is the perfect quick and easy lunch or dinner and you can serve it with some fruit on the side, a smoothie, or some veggies and hummus. Here is the recipe, enjoy!

Serving Size: 1


  • 2 slices of whole wheat bread

  • Violife vegan cheddar cheese (however much you want)

  • spinach (however much you want)

  • tomato (however much you want)

  • salt and pepper


  1. Put your cheese, spinach, tomato, salt, and pepper on your bread however you like.

  2. I cut mine in half (the vegan cheese melts faster) and I put it in my toaster oven on some tinfoil at 400 degrees on bake for 7 minutes.

  3. After about 4 minutes I took the tops of the bread off because those were already toasted, but my cheese needed to melt more (vegan cheese takes a while).

  4. After those next few minutes your cheese should be melted and ready to go!

  5. Take out your sandwich and add the tops of the bread and enjoy!
